PARALLELISM

1. Our beagle loves to hunt. When someone opens the back door for her, she barrels down porch steps into the yard and runs back and forth across the lawn in ecstasy.  Her nose cruises the wet grass for smells.  These are smells of cats, rabbit smells, and other presences too subtle for human detection.  She sniffs and spins her tail in quick circles.Firstly It spins clockwise  and then counterclockwise.  These two activities always occur together.  They are sniffing and spinning.  They seem to propel her along.

1 .Because Grace is a vegetarian, she must pay attention to the amount of protein in the food she eats ,  so she eats a lots of beans and eggs.

2. When Grace first became a vegetarian, she missed eating meat since she had always liked the food she eats,Yet , she eats a lot of beans and eggs.

7.Being a vegetarian and feeling that she is doing her share to protect animals, Grace becomes irritated when people question her motives for being a vegetarian.Although she tries to be patient with such people and makes them understand  the value of saving animals, people often just do not understand.

ALL ABOUT ME

Hi, I am  Canan. I am from  Turkey  and living in  Ankara which  is the capital of  Turkey. I  want  to mention  about  my university life , hobbies and  family. Firstly, I am  a student  at metu, and  my  department  is  foreign  language education. I  have  been studying at metu  for  about two years. I like  this university  very  much. If  I  had  won  another  school , I  would not  be  happy now.Moreover, there  are  a lot of  friends at metu.Thanks to my friends   and my university  facilities , my  life  is  more  interesting  and  funny.There  are  a lot  of  student  communities in campus.By participating them , I can make  new  friends  and  improve  myself. Also, I  am  staying  in  dormitory. It is really  a good  experience. I  think  everyone  should  try  it.Secondly, I  am an outgoing  and  social  person.I like trying  new and different  things.Since  last year, I have  tried  different  hobbies such as mountain  climbing, scouting, capoiera, history  and  media communities .Besides these hobbies, I will  enroll on  tennis  and painting  courses next semester.My all  hobbies  make me  happy  and  give the joy  of  life.Until I die, I will try  different  things.It is  my life  philosophy.Thirdly, I remain seperate from my  family. They are  living inanother  city.Sometimes I  miss them so much.Anyway, my father is 51 years old and a chauffeur.My mother is 47 years old and a housewife.Also, I have  two  sisters.Their names  are  Cansu  and Neriman.They  are  students,too. I  love  them  all so much. They  are  the most  invaluable  people  in  my life.
