Reflection Task 2a

        JAPANESE CULTURE

There are numerous nations in the world, and each of them has their own cultures.Yet, I am interested in Japanese culture.Most cultures lose their qualities and change. However,the japanese culture is original. The reason of this may be geographical factors. Japan is an island and is not affected by other cultures , so its culture is idiocratical, and I want to mention about some information related to Japanese culture. Firstly, traditional japanese clothing distinquishes Japan from all other countries around the world. The japanese word kimono means 'something one year' and they are the traditional garments of Japan. Also, Kimonos come in a variety of colours, styles, and sizes. Men mainly wear darker or more muted colors, while women tend to wear brighter colors and pastels, and, especially for younger women, often with complicated abstract or floral patterns.I think that kimono is  very beautiful and eye-catching. Secondly,through a long culinary past, the Japanese have developed sophisticated and refined cuisine .In recent years , Japanese food has become popular in the United  States, Europe and many other areas.Dishes such as sushi ,tempura and teriyaki are some of the foods that are commonly known.The Japanese diet consists of rice,fresh, lean seafoods, and  pickled or boiled vegetables.The healthy Japanese diet is often believed to be related to the longevity of Japanese people. Thirdly, Japanese is the official and primary language of Japan. Japanese is written with a combination of three scripts: hiragana, derived from the Chinese cursive scripts,katakana derived as shortland from Chinese characters and kanji,imported from China.The Hindu-Arabic numerals are generally used for numbers, but traditional Sino-Japanese numerals are also common.Last year, I tried to study japenese.It was really difficult.I wish I could speak japanese.To conclude, I like this culture so much.
